What’s Happening on the Reels

Guns n Roses is a 5 reel 20 pay line slot that is supremely ambitious.

The game offers a ton of symbols including Axl, Slash, Duff and the Guns n Roses symbol which serves as an expanding wild. A rose joins these intertwined 10 and the face card letters, together with a bonus vinyl record. Finally, the album covers: Lies, Use your Illusion 2 and the groundbreaking Appetite for Destruction, which serves as the bonus wild.

The controls are standard NetEnt. On the far left of the bottom control panel are an Info button, Bet Amount, Level, AutoPlay, Spin, Max Bet, Coin Value and Total Coin display.

It’s simple to use, and the Autoplay has some excellent parameters to plan your gambling.

There’s also a Setlist button in which you can choose one of the 5 songs on offer; otherwise, they will play in a loop.

Free Spins

With 3 or more bonus vinyl records, you get a chance to spin a Bonus Wheel, which will reward you with one of the following:

-Encore Free Spins: 10 free spins with every symbol of one of the band members acting as expanding wilds.

-Crowd-pleaser “click me bonus”: Choose 3 musical instruments, and if you accumulate enough coins, you advance to the next level. If you’re lucky enough to get to level 3, you’re paid 2x the total amount of coins collected.

Other Features

The Guns n Roses wild symbol appears randomly and substitutes for everything except bonus symbols, expanding to cover an entire reel. Also, any 3 or more matching symbols could activate a random solo multiplier which gives you between 4x-10x your winning bet line.

Sum Up

This is an incredibly technologically advanced game, with animation, graphics, and music that frankly are the best I’ve ever seen.  This, in my opinion, is the best video slot I’ve ever played. It won the EGR Operator’s 2016 Game of the Year Award and rightfully so. Guns n Roses slams down the gauntlet in a challenge that might be tough to match.
